How can I change it? My native format is DD/MM/YYYY and not MM-DD-YYYY. I am often cofused!

The same with the time format. We don't use AM/PM.

You can't, it's not a user defineable option as far as I know.

Yes I guess ;) It was a gentle hint to make this option available for users. There are many forums that supports user-defined date/time format. So what about this huge and "international" forum?

"international" forum?

Surprise.....It's an American Forum.Yeah! The real surprise for me! :) I didn't know before! :)with international usersThis is the reason why the word international is in quotes. Is it so hard to make forum support changing of date/time format for thousands of non-American users?

I think (trying to remember a conversation I had with moonman here), that the servers and such don't actually reside in America, but in... well, that would spoil the suprise :)

And if they still are in America, I think the long term plan was to move it elsewhere...

My guess is they already moved them (to an unstable country).

The evidence is in the database.....:igor:

So what about the subject of this thread? Do non-American people have a chance to see 24-hour and DD/MM/YYYY formats?

Not likely very soon, if ever.

Why? Is it so hard to do? :(

Mr Jones

Why is it so hard to use the format provided?, I'm in the UK and we use DD/MM/YYYY and not once in 7 years of being here has it been a problem for me, it's just one of those things you get used to on the internet, not everyone uses the same format....

Yes it is hard for me.I am often cofused! Hummmm... And seemingly ONLY for me ;( So I have to submit to this :(

Well, try being in the military, we got alot to confuse you. all the traditionals are accepted, then the DDMONYY(18NOV07). and these are fun, Time, YYMMDD. (2230, 071118) and then we had a separate one for screening for the military, then a pseudo separate one for bootcamp
