View Full Version : Media Library - 'Last Updated' Sort Wrong

Hello,

In the Media Library, when using the "Last Updated" column to sort entries, it seems to sort the entries using not the values in the "Last Updated" column but the "File Time" column. This results in the Last Updated column being completely out of order and the File Time column being in perfect order... you can see this in the following screenshot:

This is for Winamp 5.5, running on Windows XP.

I apologize if this has already been addressed as I find it hard to believe I'm the first one to discover this but I did do an honest search for a bug report on it and found none. :)

Yup, it's a known issue and is already fixed in the latest 5.51 internal beta builds.

5.51 Internal beta whatsnew:

* Fixed: [ml_local] Last Updated and Album Gain column sorting orders

I'll add it to the list in the Known Bugs sticky thread.

Thanks :-)

In Winamp 5.52 again no proper sorting possible. Correct multi-column sorting is a minimum requirement for any application. If anyone wants to see his songs order by year, artist, title this should be done with 3 clicks. Even in the customized 'Smart' views this is impossible. Please correction soon!

Custom multi-column sorting is a feature request, not a bug.
The Wishlist is here (http://forums.winamp.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=3).

The bug reported in this thread was indeed fixed for 5.51, as stated.
