No Love for Aperture Science Labratories?

Got the Orange Box for 360, and I immediately set out to find some skin love for Winamp. Only a couple of Half-life skins, and no skins for Portal?

Was wondering if anyone was working on any. Sadly, I have NO skill whatsoever in making skins. I tried, once...It was bad; real bad.

Any reason this is funny? I didn't feel like buying Half-life 2 for PC AND buying Orange Box for the expansions, so I picked it up for 360, where it has All 5 games on one disc. Easier than me buying two discs and trying to update my computer's hardware.

I've thought about making a Portal skin. I may eventually. Only played the game for the first time a couple days ago.

I assume P$ycho is laughing at you either because FPS controls on the 360 aren't as good as a mouse, or because the 360 version can't use downloaded bonus levels or mods. I wouldn't worry about it.

i was just laughing because of the ultimate performance of the 360 (and cuz of the controls of fps of course) and cuz im generally against consoles.

But plz ignore this, it's just my opinion.

I should also mention that while requesting skins is taboo here, the fact that I've already been thinking about a portal skin, combined with the fact that the thread's title sparked an idea in my mind... I'd say your odds are good, although you may be waiting a while.

Well I wasn't requesting, per se, but checking to see if anyone was in development of one. If not, I could've tried my hand again, but it would've been horrible. I love the skins with custom mouse sprites and buttons slider bars, but I can barely work the built-in skinner where you just use a pciture and all the buttons are "Transparent". If someone is workign on one, I won't worry about embarrassing myself.

Be as detailed as possible even provide images if you have some...

Mind you garetjax sux at skinning...but, I may through your extra linking and information find an opportunity to deliver some monstrosity of skin as my work tends to end up being. -jax.

Garet, if your doing this I want in. Love the game can't get enough of it.

there was this free "first slyce" version of Portal for Nvidia customers where you could play the first 10 chapters. cant find it atm but its great to see how the game works.

I've cancelled the skin. Sorry, it became garbage and that happens from time to time. I do not want to publish something that horrible and subject you poor souls to it.
