"Wrong" login password

I can't seem to log in with my email address (the main site login, not the forum one). I have reset the password 3 times and tried it with each new one and that still isn't fixing the problem. Any idea why this is happening? And no, caps lock is not on.:)

Oh, in case it matters, I have tried this in both Firefox and IE.

Are you using your forum user name/pw to log into the main site?

If so, you can't you need one account for the forums and one for the main site.

No, I'm logging in, like I said, through the main site login with my email address and whatnot. I have already tried resetting the password.

Oddly enough, when I clicked the forgotten password link that is supposed to generate one, it actually sent me an old password I used back when I first signed up (I've gone through about 3 iterations since then). As for cookies, I strongly doubt I had any since they clear weekly and I hadn't logged in for quite some time; at least a month. In any case, problem solved, albeit strangely, and thanks for the help.
