First off I would like to say that I absolutely LOVE the idea of the built in browser. It makes things much more convenient.

However, a lot of people dislike using Internet Explorer and prefer other browsers such as Firefox for security and other various reasons. The fact that you're stuck with Internet Explorer is keeping me, and others as well I'm sure, from using the browser feature.

I would really like to see the option to let users choose their preferred browser. I mean, would it really be that difficult to do?

as it stands Internet explorer is the only browser that comes built into windows, and therefore can be embedded into other programs.

The Gecko 1.9 would the best rendering engine for anyone, and it's free to use. So it's not really a mater of browser preference.. you just need the best and it saves money too!

WHY implement IE?!

IE is built into Windows, Gecko is not.

IE isn't so bad, apparently ie7 is more secure than firefox 2.

Anyway, I don't want to see an option to choose browsers,mainly because I don't use the built in browser, and I'm sure there are better features that are yet to be implemented, than having a new branch of code for each popular browser.

BTW, I am actually posting this on firefox 2.0.0.13, so I'm no fan boy
