I'm using Winamp 5.531 with out_ds v2.47 (d) on a SoundMAX HD Audio device under Windows XP SP2.
Under the out_ds settings, if I set Volume control to "Linear" and I turn the volume up to 100%, the Status tab shows "Volume: 0.000000 dB". This is correct.
However, if I set it to Logarithmic, and I turn it up to 100%, the Status tab shows "Volume: -3.010300 dB". The sound is also audibly quieter (so it's not just a UI bug).
This is a bug, right? Can anyone else confirm?
