Maximum User Load?

How many users should I be able handle if I am broadcasting 24kbs, with a 256k FRAC T1 for connectivty? I have 17 people log on, and I get skips, is this a problem with my T1? or did i do the math wrong?

account for lag/overhead

256 * 0.9 = 230.4

230.4 / 24 = 9.6

so your max users should be set to 9.

or if you feel like pushing it.
256/24 = 10.6. set it to 10.

also.. make sure you stay off the web if you are looking to use your whole connection.

Thanks, I need to look into something then because my connection is a FRAC T1, I had a listner peak of 17 people before i got a skip, plus I ftp to my server, and browse the web. So, something isnt right somewhere heh

does your connection allow bursting? might that account for those 7 extra connex. *shrug*
