Hi,

It would be good if the computer automatically shutsdown after half an hour so i may fall asleep to music and not have the music wake me 2 hours later... also saves on electricity.

With regard to the shuffle, from my understanding (havent read the updates), winamp chooses the next song based on how different the song is to the one currently played and you may change the degree... I would prefer it to be completely random.
I would also like it if you can weigh certain songs so that they are more likely to come up than others....

If this has already been done; the autoshutdown in particular, please let me know how... I tried autoexit but after a while it required registration :(

Thanks,

Taketh

Plugin Search: Sleep (http://www.winamp.com/plugins/search/?q=sleep)

Shuffle is randomized.

Thanks for the help.

I dont think it is random... under general preferences, playlist, what is "shuffle morph rate"? or does that only take affect after the whole playlist is played.

Also do you know of quick ways to remove dead links and duplicates of songs...

The morph rate, as I understand it, controls how large of a jump shuffle can make, probably as some fraction of the total playlist size.

Removing dups and missing files is easy from a playlist.
Rem -> Remove -> Remove Duplicate Entries (Shift + Del)
Rem -> Remove -> Remove missing files from playlist (Alt + Del)

I just discovered this about an hour ago, but there is an autoshutdown in Winamp.
No need for a plugin.

Right click the stop button and you get several options.
