Hello there!

Thanks for accepting me on this forum!
I intend to make a simple skin, and if i'm not wrong, i just have to replace a standard set of images. I already try:
C:\Arquivos de programas\Winamp\Skins (portuguese windows)
or
C:\program files\Winamp\Skins
but i just can't find the default skin directory to try it, i mean, it is empty...
Anybody help?
My mail is:
aryan_muller@yahoo.com.br
Thanks!

you won't be able to edit the default skin as this is built into winamp and wont appear in the skins folder.

what you need to do is rename any .wsz based file into a .zip, such as with Template Amp or Skinners Atlas( http://www.winamp.com/skins/details/71571 & http://www.winamp.com/skins/details/126738 ), and then extract these files into its own folder to check out what you need to edit.

If you get stuck, go to the development section on this website that will explain to you how to make your own skins.

if you want to use the base graphics of the classic winamp (you can download the skin for that too). However, generally speaking of course it is always better to recreate and design all of the windows as these generally are more widely respected and downloaded. Not to mention you will gain an appreciation for this thing that we do...lol.

Yes, but still, if you're good you can extend the work that others have done...
