Hi,

I'm going to build what is essentially a music PC which will serve all my CDs, which have (almost all) now been converted to FLAC, to a stereo.

The PC's HTPC case (Antec Fusion) has a volume knob, a LCD display and infra-red remote control capability which are compatible with Windows Media Center Edition and (I think) Vista.

I'm going to use WinAmp to play the music and I was wondering if WinAmp is compatible with the volume knob, LCD display, and remote control?

If not I'll buy a cheaper case without those functions, but if it is it would be cool.

Thanks.

The volume knob is probably a system-wide volume control.

Apparently the Fusion comes with custom software for the LCD

Here's a Tom's hardware review:

Winamp is mentioned on page 7, So I suppose that would mean yes the LCD and remote should work.
