plugin-skin question

I'm not quite sure, if this is the right place for this, but couldn't find a better one...

I made a skin for the enhancer 0.17 plugin, which looks just like the legendary Energy Amplifier winamp skin. i actually used some optical key-parts of the skin for my plugin skin...

Can i publish it?

Or do i really need to contact the creator of EnergyAmp?
Because i have no idea who made that skin. It's not even in the winamp.com database anymore ( :down: ) (i couldn't find it)

Yes, if you used someone elses graphics, it would be proper to ask for their permission to publish.

hmm ok, i'm trying to contact him. but on any skin/customization - page i check his profil, he is often inactive for years.
does anyone know, where he is active now?
