Winamp fiddles with my balance setting

Whenever I try to play a song, Winamp changes the sound settings in Windows so that the balance is all on the right speaker, a problem I got just recently. After every song starts, I have to adjust the balance. This is getting really annoying, does anyone know how to fix this bug?
