From MP3 into WAV

I converted an MP3 file into WAV by Winamp 2.0. I tried to write the WAV file into a CD-R by Nero Burning ROM 4.0(on hardware Acer 4432A), unsuccessfully. The error message was: "WAV file format not supported".
What can I do?
