We hear you loud and clear!

This morning, we rolled out an update to the SHOUTcast site which brings back an original feature: the ability to see a station's bitrate and stream type in the directory. The bitrate and stream type information for stations can also be seen in the SHOUTcast experience in Winamp, as well.

Based on user feedback, we will continue to update the SHOUTcast BETA experience and as always, we want any and all feedback you have about the site. We can take it - the good & the bad. Some of you have given us an earful, to say the least.

We are working as quickly as possible to roll out updates so try to control yourselves until then.

We'll be adding more improvements in the coming weeks so check back regularly to the blog to find out more...

Keep sending those comments!

See when the development team say they are listening

All they need to do now is add AIM & ICQ fields when the "More" menu is clicked and I'll be happy, these fields in the DSP at this point are useless and they need to implement these into the new YP.

This YP would look alot better if it was styled more like the one inside the WINAMP Media Library, users want to see the full stream name and song title without having to expand each stream entry.
