Error with MP3 Play

I have just encountered this problem.. I play a mp3 file and it will only play the first second and that's it... but i can manually move the indicator for the time/point in the song and get a second or less of the song from where i stopped. I have never had this problem before and would like to get it resolved... Please help .. thanx

i too have this problem, only it wil play a min. or so.

I have the same problem with cd audio as well. Please help.
