mpegs playing too slow since upgrade

Since I upgraded to WinAmp 2.62, my mpegs are playing too slow (audio and video). It has affected both new clips that I download as well as old ones that used to work fine before the upgrade. Is there some way to fix this?

Having similar problem with same version of WINamp. CAN NOT get "correct" speed with audio file....system sounds and CDs. Anyone? hope to suggestions.

Winamp 2.62 has had a lot of errors. I just deleted winamp and downloaded 2.61
