The Forum has all of a sudden gotten fatter?
It is now wider than the normal sections of the website.
WTF???

What do you mean?
/me disables his custom style sheet
Oh right. It now fills a 1024 pixel wide screen.

exactly... which means it ain't conforming to fit in a 800pix wide screen any more.
(Not that many use that res these days)
Just strange that its only on the Forum.

Hmm... is the width coded as pixels or % in the stylesheet. If its % then the screen width should not matter!

correct, but either way if using px or % it should be consistent me thinks.

Is that a question? The width specified has increased from 774px to 970px.

It was a question... Unless you have a background or overlay image of fixed width, the width is usually specified in % rather than fixed pixels.

it really is an improvement for widescreen users like me.

Variable width would have been nicer.

Now I have to keep the bloody window it's in wider to fit it all in at a fixed 1024, wasting more desktop screen space because of it.

At least Phsyco is happy....
But I think with whatever he is taking he would always be happy..
