[question] Manage 2 DJ's.

Hi everyone! Does anyone know how I can manage my DJ's online from my office? I mean: turn off first DJ, and turn on second DJ, and later return first DJ again? Thanks!

Not really an option with shoutcast.

if you want to turn 1 dj off then the 2nd dj needs to be waiting to connect when you kick the source (1st dj) to the server in the shoutcast admin area.

I personally didn't like any of the solutions out there.. so I wrote my own using a mixture of bash shell, and perl. It will runs via simple cron job that kicks off every minute.

I'm going to clean up the code, and make it all 100% perl.

It only runs on linux btw.

There was a request made by users that these kind of functions would be included in the new shoutcast tools.
