For several hours I can't find any stations after doing "Search:" for «Portugal», whereas before one could usually find around 20 stations of those.

Sometimes different mirrors of the directory can act funny ...

For several hours I see «ShoutCast home» with stations but can't find any station after a "Search:" for keyword «Portugal» whereas usually one could find around 20 stations of those.

Try enter your country name in your own language. Maybe it'll help.

Didin't you know it's exactly the same, Portugal? No, it isn't that even because of some earlier posts, ShouCast may be having some "mirroring stations" problem.

Or else could I thank DarkHog to please also try that "Search:" (Portugal) and tell me the results (what I've mistaken was the title of this thread, should be «Portuguese»( stations can't be seen).

fc*uk:merged threads and moved back to discussions.

I've already given you that link you are asking for. :)

Please try to keep topics to one thread.

I hope this helps you out.

I'm sorry but didn't you try:
http://classic.shoutcast.com/directory/?sgenre=&maxbitrate=999&numresult=25&s=Portugal
It won't show any station and I am actually one of the present broadcasters with keyword "Portugal". So something must be wrong in ShoutCast server(s), that Search worked already from 10 years ago!

I was having the same trouble with this website. Search for anything and the reeor message displayed is: "Unfortunatly.....not found" It seems to be working again. I just searched Portugal and they all came up. Thank you shoutcast!

is this happening on the regular shoutcast or the classic shoutcast? I can't get mine to show up on classic.

Looks like just the classic version.

I just tried the same search and got results for the current version and none for the classic.

Is it possible that anyone higher up or more knowledgeable then myself can shed some light on this ... is this simply a rare fluke?

Still not working nearly since a daay ago, at least. And even the new Shoutcast directory just shows the stations, with keyword for example Portugal, which at least have 1 listener. Which policy is that? And the ones that still haven't any aren't also shown, to get listeners? In classic ShoutCast still nothing, so I best believe they didn't fix the issue yet! Who may help?

I thought it was working again, but was mistaken. Regualr shoutcast.com displayed no results no matter what I searched for. Then a while ago I tried the grnre search and that began to give some, but not all results. The streams that were just coming online were not being displayed. Infact no streams with 0 listeners were displayed if scrolling through the list when searched by genre. Searching by key word started working shortly after but streams with 0 listeners were not being displayed.
Shoutcast classic is definatly not working at all!

Does anyone know who to report this problem to?

I've already reported the problem up the line.

Please keep in mind that it is the weekend and we may not have an answer as to what is going on until Monday.

Thanks for that info, I'm new to this. This problem has been occuring for the past few days. Since thursday night everyone on facebook says they can't find my station, and used to until then. I'll say a prayer.

hi the same problem at this end as well with classic
everyone on facebook says they can't find my station why not direct them to the new version or supply direct click links for them to tune in ?

Thanks a lot, ShoutCast programmers, already fixed the problem in classic ShoutCast directory; but the beta version of the new Shoutcast directory just shows the stations, with keyword for example Portugal, which at least have 1 listener. Which policy is that? And the ones that still haven't any, shouldn't they be also shown, so as to get listeners?
