Library dissapears each time.....

I like using Winamp but I'm fed up Winamp always loosing data.
I own a NAS which contains all my MP3
I've built smart views and have put stars for best songs...

BUT when either the NAS is not switched on OR EITHER my PC collapsed, had a BSOD or whatever like, when I'll run Winamp... it is empty and I lost everything !
I need then to scan all my MP3 but anyway I'll never get back some lost data such counts, stars, last played...

This bug or unimplemented feature has always existed

One suggestion. Go to Options - Preferences - Media Library - Local Media

Under the Watch Folders tab uncheck Automatically add played files and both Rescan Folders options.

It should then only attempt to look for your data when you manually rescan.

It may also pay you to check the Do not load the media library database at startup under the Options tab.
