I was reading about the Winamp 5.5 beta when I saw this...

4. Re: New: [ml_impex] iTunes-compatible Media Library database import/export plugin:
Library button -> Import Database / Export Database to import from or export to an iTunes-compatible xml file.

I wonder if I could use this plug in to play songs I purchased via I-tunes to winamp for streaming? You think the stream would be possible? I mean the Wav. files are working (as long as I don't put them first in my playlist when I stream.)

I got some messing around to do...

All that does is expore the Winamp ML database into a XML file iTunes can read. It doesn't strip DRM (still illegal) or play back any file type of any form.

I need a legal place to get singles downloaded cheap, I-tunes seemed ideal....

I'll figure something out.

This is another example of why I am an idiot.

What I should be asking is " Small independent webcasters, where do you get your legit songs for broadcast?" If someone could PM me, that would be awesome.

Why Im on that topic, is there any audio programs/Plug ins I should look into for trying to get into the intermediate ranks of independent hobbiest broadcasting?

A PM would be awesome.

The only reason I ask is because in my file info for my (band name) song off an original CD via winamp, in the block to most right it has a block that says Broadcast: No

OHHH, I never thought about this.

Yes that song came off my CD, but to put it in the computer I had to use a media codec.

That solves that one.
