Im having a major issue with NSVCap not connecting to the server, the server displays

Server Status: Server is currently down.

The passwords are correct as i have made sure of that

Below are my details

Shoucast URL:http://66.90.103.76
Shoutcast Port:9136

In the NSVCAP > File >

Output - Shoutcast Host
Shoutcast Server - 66.90.103.76 (even with http:// no joy)
Port - 9136
Password = password

Headers:

password (even if i remove this still no joy)
content-type:video/nsv
icy-metadata:0
icy-name:My NSV Stream
icy-genre:Video
icy-pub:0
icy-br:128
icy-url:URL submitted by user.
icy-irc:#chan
icy-icq:1234567
icy-aim:SomeUser
icy-reset:1

Normal thing for me to do is not edit anything before i get it working, then once working, i edit things bit by bit.

been trying to get this working for hours now and cant seem to get it working,

Thanks for your help.

Not sure if it's an artefact of this forum ... don't use http etc in the server part of the config

i.e. set SHoutcast Server = 66.90.103.76

also, I've never had to put the password as the first line in headers, I've found that piece of documentation to be wrong - although, I don't think it breaks the connection

I sometimes get that - I've never checked to see if it means the stream isn't working!

Have you looked at the shoutcast server (DNAS) log?

if this is an external server (the DNAS), you don't need to forward any ports anyway!

if you can see http://66.90.103.76:9136/ I can't see why you wouldn't be able to connect to stream
