Ok, my old comp ran windows 2000...and when I got my mp3 player (Sansa clip) all I had to do was plug it in my usb port and winamp automatically detected it and I was able to put music on it. Well recently my computer took a dive and I had to get a new one. My friend built it for me, and now it runs Windows xp. I had to redownload winamp, which is the newest version, and now it isn't detecting my mp3 player at all when I plug it into my usb. On my old comp it displayed "external drive G" when i'd right click on a song and went to "send to"...now there's nothing like that.

Anything I can do to get this to work? Is it the winamp or the windows xp??

Any help is appreciated...I really want to get some different music on my dealie

Does your Windows XP actually have the right drivers?
