View Full Version : Pause-pause skips to next track
Using 2.62, when I pause a track, wait a while, and then hit pause again to start it, it's then playing the next track.
If I slide the song position slider back a bit, it goes back to the right track.
I checked the posts here for anything similar, but nobody else appears to be seeing this? Whassup?

I've had a similar problem. When I hit pause and then wait for a while (like to answer the phone) and come back more than a few minutes later, it will resume where it left off, but a few seconds later (probably when the buffer runs out) it skips forward to the next track. So I also ask whassup widdat?

i have accidentally left winamp paused for several hours in the background while i did other things. when i hit pause again, it starts right back where it left off. and yes, i'm running 2.62.

I have the same problem (vers. 2.62) but only when playing stuff direct from the internet (i.e., MP3.com playlists). It doesn't seem to matter whether I use the play or pause button to restart it. It plays the same song for about 10 seconds, then skips to the next song. Doesn't happen when playing local mp3 files. It's kind of annoying, because I listen to stuff from MP3.com all day long at work, and I have to pause frequently to talk to people, answer the phone, go to the printer/bathroom/etc.
