Set duration of all tracks playing

I'd like to be able to set a duration time after which the next track in the playlist would start. This is for dance purposes as some tracks last for 4 or 5 minutes and it would be prefferable to dance for 2 1/2 or 3 mins at a time.

Don't put any track that are too long in your playlist. Problem solved.
