First of all, don't even say "you can't support the stream". I can download at 600 kbps. I have a cable modem. I ping 70 to live365. It is NOT my connection.
Okay, now here's my problem:
When listening to live365.com broadcasts (with a 256 kb buffer, due to some stupid router error), I get what sounds like a record skipping. By skip, I don't mean it stops quickly. I have a p2-400 with 128 MB RAM, I haven't had an mp3 skip EVER with this computer. I mean it sounds like a record player (remember those?). About once a second (not exactly a second, but it is a constant rate) it clicks, and pans left and right, but not completely. It's an odd problem that I've never had before. It seemed to crop up when I downloaded winamp 2.61. Nothing else was changed to precipitate this problem. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to describe, though I could conceivably record it, if needs be.
Please respond via e-mail (kenjura@mp3alliance.org)...thank you...
