Bookmarking AOL Radio

Bookmarking AOL Radio stations in Winamp appears to work but you lose the sweet metadata stream with cover art and artist/album/title info. Any way to fix or work-around this? Since the service gives me the option to bookmark within itself, I was surprised it wouldn't fully work.

Hey Osmosis,

Losing the stream metadata when tuning in from an AOL Radio station bookmark is an unfortunate limiation/side effect that does not have a work-around.

The stream url is all that is able to be bookmarked from the AOL Radio online service and the way that service handles metadata is kind of its own animal so there isn't much we can do to help.

You'll just have to train your ear to recognize the artist/album/song information for every song piped through AOL Radio service I'm afraid (or the alternative is to just tune-in from the service page and leave the page active while listening).

I'll let you know if this gets improved upon at some point.
