Hi guys Two bugs on W7 X-64 build 7068 AND Windows XP running under vmware.
Standard (default) skin
1) Screen - keeps flashing Black and Grey when accessing the CD recorder in the Media Library and there's no CD inserted.
2) After ejecting a CD when you put a new one in the application hangs - the CD light on the machine stays on )looks like a loop). Ejecting the CD manually and re-starting the application manually causes a Windows 7 popup message "Winamp has stopped working".
You can close and restart again then you can process the next SINGLE CD.
Above problems are also evident when running WINAMP on an XP virtual machine with Windows 7 as a Host -- so it could be related to the Windows 7 Video drivers.
BTW I also disabled all the AERO effects just to check whether it was AERO related -- no difference whether full AERO enabled or disabled.
To Mods - a lot of people are testing Windows 7 currently - suggest you open a BUGS under Windows 7 area to separate Windows 7 from current problems.
For your info Windows 7 is released in X-86 and X-64 bit versions.
Build Beta 7000 was the publicly released build but current builds which have been leaked all over the Internet and are in very common use are
7048, 7057 and 7068. Perhaps people should also list the W7 build they are using when reporting defects.
Cheers
