Who is interested in an out of the box shoutcast website?
I am referring to an archive that you can extract to your website, run an install.php file and enter your server details and then have a website up and ready to start displaying song information and taking requests.

The website will include a DJ panel where DJ’s can enable/disable requests, view notices, etc.

The website will come with a range of skins as well as the ability to create your own with minimal experience in webpage design.

Im sure a lot of people would like this but cost would be paramount.

There are also factors like support to consider as you may say out the box but its really not that simple for some.

im assuming when you say shoutcast website you mean a radio station?

The following features are already in development.


Display of stream title on all pages
Display of current song on all pages
Display of previous songs on main page
Fully theme driven layout allowing for the site to be given a unique look (theme development will also be offered)
Multiple user accounts allows for dj's to be setup and for them to kick the current source (auto dj), view notices from the administrators, upload new song lists, enable/disable requests, view requests from listeners, etc.
Display of notices on main page.
Customisable about us/contact us page
Addon modules will be available as they are released free of charge
Full support will be provided
Updates provided free of charge

Yep, totally agree, great idea, maybe you could integrate a few of your ideas with a few of the control panels available?

off the top of my head, try kristall panel, ive used it and it is absolutely great!
