I'm finally a Partner with SHOUTcast and was provided with API, but it seems to be missing so much information... :(
One would be that it doesn't say how to filter by bitrate... I figured it out by setting &br=128 to the request link and it gives me a list of stations that are only 128kbps.
Now how can I filter something like all radios less than 128kbps? Would be great if that could be done.
Also the query for top500 does not allow to use the limit flag how come?
Thanks!
Moto!

Let me add:
The classic shoutcast allows the "maxbitrate=56" flag... what's the equivalent flag for the new shoutcast?
Thanks!

The people that dealt with this do not work for aol anymore so support will be limited.
You can only hope other members help.

That's sad... So who is monitoring SHOUTcast servers? Any of these guys around this forum? Usually servers of these types have a particular link you go and can see all supported queries... I wish I could find that at least...

Unfortunately the place has always been very scarce with actual AOL staff and we are all volunteers.
There was a recent cull in staff and any point of contact we had have faded away, the people that actually monitor the servers have always been transparent to these forums.
Like i say you may be lucky if someone passing will poiny you in the right direction.
Sorry i cant be of more help.

Be patient and as a partner im 100% sure
that you will have the functionality you require.
Although key people did leave aol, this is one area i know is being worked on.
I cant say anymore so before i burst.

well maxbitrate not supported by current APIs... :( possibly in the future...
I would assume as a developer that this would be very easy to implement but o well...

As i said stay patient and as a partner you should be informed when/if an upgrade to the api is published.
