This is something I've not come across before in any of the wishlist "lists", but would make Winamp very powerful in its library functionality. That and it'd be very useful for myself. :)
Is there a way to specify a view or views to use specific watch folders in what it lists? Currently the only way that I can see to get it to be anything like what I'm after is a LOT of filtering with queries in the view editor.

Right click on your view, e.g. 'Audio' or create a new view --> Edit View --> select 'Filename' 'Begins with' 'Your Path'

Does that path have to be absolute or can it be relative?

It uses 'File name begins with', so it's absolute.
But you can define the root folder only too, for example
C:\Music\A
C:\Music\B
If you set the path to 'C:\Music', it shows the subfolders A and B too.
If you want just a subfolder, then use directly 'C:\Music\A'
You can set multiple 'Begins with' pathes in the builder too.
You could also play with 'File Name' --> 'Contains' to make it work with relative pathes.
