I'm having a strange problem with the Shoutcast App on my Ipod Touch.

For some bizarre reason, The Now Playing interface moves up the screen after connecting to a stream, The interface won't respond except for the ones on the bottom, Here are the screen shots of what I'm talking about.

I already tried removing and redownloading the App, Same thing happens.

All the other Apps work fine, It seems that only the Shoutcast App has a weird thing where the now playing screen moves up after connecting to the stream and the controls not responding.

Ok, I did a complete restore of the Ipod Touch and put the Shoutcast app back on, I'm still getting the same problem as what is shown on the picture on my first post.

Mine also is working fine. I notice in your screenshot that you have no banner ad at the bottom of the page.

So... maybe ads are served based on where you live, and you didn't get one - or got something that causes the screen to move up as if there were a big ad down at the bottom.

Just a thought - no way to confirm that though. Sorry.

the Ads appear normally on the bottom on the other screens, Its just on the Now Playing screen, It scrolls up about a second after it connects to a stream, And also the play button, the button to go back into the Genre, Or Star button don't respond while its like that.

Hey that's neat. Happens on mine as well.

Actually, it's fairly annoying. I've got an iTouch in the car that the wife has and she's got an iPhone as well. I'll check both to see how many this happens on.

Never really noticed it before and I don't recall my iPhone downloading an update for this app anytime recently.

The report:

1. This happens on all iPhones I can get my hands on.

2. This does not happen on my first gen iTouch.

3. After the ad loads, or fails to load, the screen moves back down and the buttons function once again.

If I had to take a wild guess, it seems like dotme might be on to something with his ad comment.

Ditto here. I downloaded the app for the first time just a couple weeks ago, and it worked fine at first. For the past week this screen jump happens 100% of the time.

Nice to not get ads, not nice to never see the track info except as a flash between songs or apparent ad changes.

..and of course, it's working just fine since last night. Somebody must have fixed the advertising banners/server.

Or was it a ploy just to get people to sign up for the forums??!? ;)

Yep, Seems to be working now.
