new layout

i'm pretty sure there's one or the other who preferred the old look - it always happens!

so, i put together this basic greasemonkey (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748}) script to bring back some of the old look (works on firefox (http://www.spreadfirefox.com/?q=affiliates&id=118277&t=1) only). it's not perfect, but i didn't find many screenshots of the old version, and i mainly wanted to get rid of the blue links.

Well I don't know about going that far but...
I don't like the layout at all.
Unfortunately the website is losing more and more of its character that it once had.

And no I am not being negative. Thats my opinion from watching the website and forum for many years.

I don't have an issue with change at all and I would consider myself a forward thinker but sorry guys.
The site does nothing for me.
Looking more and more like a Microsoft website or something.
Dull with a capital D.

And not a Llama in sight...

I have the 2006 css+images, but nothing on the previous.

But saying that stuff above the first and below the last <!-- breadcrumb, nav links --> should have a white bg, iirc.

Basically the only thing actually changed with the forums css is the link colour btw.

You can see how the old website looked and get images by using the link below. Put in www.winamp.com (and/or link to the forum too) and you will get an archive of how the website has changed through the years. ;)

It seems to be slow and a bit weird on the newest dates there (even though they aren't the newest). Older dates works good though. Its good to see how the website looked a few years back.. ;)

that's what i tried first, but i just got some unformatted html - maybe a temporary problem. sticked to some screenshots found on google. anyway, i don't want to take this too far. as i pointed out, i basically didn't like those blue links.
