Hi, I have been trying to use Winamp exclusively and do away with Windows Media Player. I have a portable player and periodically reload it with different songs from my library. I have found out how to use AutoFill, as well as how to downgrade my WMA files from lossless to 256k on the fly using transcoding. One thing WMP currently does better, though, is that it converts and transfers asynchronously, rather than waiting for one file to finish before starting the next one. I would like to see Winamp do this, since it seems like it would shave a lot off of the time it takes to fill my player. Is there a chance for this to happen in the future?
