Are all gmail addresses banned?

I tried to create a forum account but get the message that my email address has been banned: ericwsf@gmail.com.

I created a windows live account to create this but I would like to update my email to my real one. But I am not going to even try because I am afraid I'll lose access.

Mine isn't. :) Did you use a bogus Gmail account? "but I would like to update my email to my real one." (your quote) If you did, that's why it's banned.
