Did a quick search for droid shoutcast streams, doesn't look very good in the way of stream players. Not sure how this once again got left out of a modern "smart" phone OS. But at least Droid seems to come with AAC+ support built in.

I have users listening with DroidLive. I don't think it's expensive.

I found out that the Archos mini tablet computer things are running on Android and they play aac+ so I might have to look into one of those to replace my ancient Archos Jukebox mp3 player. Need to do a little more research on them first. Kind of need something that has A2DP bluetooth for some wireless headphones for motorcycle season.

Have you looked at TuneWiki? That has Shoutcast built in. It used to have really bad dropout problems where it just wouldn't start again if the stream was interrupted, but it seems to pick up better now although it still seems to drop out a bit. But it does work.
