View Full Version : Winamp won't leave .mp4 ALONE !!

I've reinstalled countless times. Looked @ every single thing, in the plugins configured each and all of em.

No, Windows Media Player cannot be set to run .mp4 files, Winamp always must. Always freaking changes that. Who else gets aggravated like this ? Anything in particular to look @ ?

Preferences > File Types > MP4 isn't selected in the list?
In WMP prefs, you have set MP4 as handled extension?

You also tried to remove MP4 from the list of the decoder?
Prefs > Plugins > Input > Nullsoft Mpeg-4 Demuxer

MP4 isn't even in that list. M4A is..should be.

In that Demuxer plugin yes, it only reads M4A;. I cannot understand why it's doing this.
