I have the free app version 1.1.0.6, for ipod touch. My ipod has just been updated to the 4.0 version. Problems with Shoutcast.
1. When going to the stations feature, I can see the genres, but when I go to any one of them, say Jazz or New Age, all I get is "loading", the rolling busy icon shows up, and no stations show up. Can't access any stations.
2. The favorite stations I had don't play any more except for three of them. The rest say "Stream URL Not Found."
3. The issue in number 2 above has happened before the 4.0 update, but then I searched for the station again and bookmarked it as favorite. Now, I can't even get to the station, as per issue number one. What has happened that previously listened and made favorite radio stations now don't stream, and require being searched again and re-bookmarked?
4. I thought of deleting the station from my ipod and reloading, but it warns me that all data will be deleted, so I don't want to delete the only three radio stations that are actually working. Is there a way to fix this so I can access all stations?
5. When playing one of the radio stations that still work, occasionally, the whole app shuts down completely. The wi-fi is still working, so it's not that I lost connection, the internet icon is still full and active. Other radio apps I have on the ipod haven't done this.
6. The search feature doesn't work. Doesn't link to any stations.
7. The shake feature which was supposed to change to another station also doesn't work.
I hope someone has some answers for this. Early on, Shoutcast app was really a good one, and offered a lot of variety in listening. Right now it has become a big problem. Thank you for your help.
