Is there a way to tune in with your own client through the new Shoutcast 2.0 website? The web-based player is nice, but many people still prefer to tune in using their own client software, which very often is Winamp. It is also an issue from a broadcaster's perspective, as there is no clear way to see which relays are included in the cluster without the availability of a .pls file to view.

Am I just missing something, or has the ability to tune in with anything besides the web-based player been removed?

On the site, mouse over Help and click Settings,
Then click "Play SHOUTcast stations in default media player ( eg: Winamp / iTunes / Windows Media Player )"
Save, then go back to the directory and hit the play button on the station you want, the .pls will then download :)

Changing this setting worked a few weeks ago when the site first launched. However now the website does not remember this setting in IE8, even immediately after clicking "save settings". It's worth noting that the setting gets saved in Firefox, just not IE8.

Sounds like a cookie problem. Check your cookie settings in IE8. They might be getting cleared every time you close it or periodically. (http://www.google.com/#hl=en&q=Cookies+won%27t+save+IE8&fp=1&cad=b)
