The new classic.shoutcast.com layout sucks

What is this? The original classic.shoutcast.com was 10x more functional and visually appealing than this web 2.0 abortion.

Bring it back, the new site is crap.

I extremely dislike how when I click on a station to tune in, it takes me to a list of Related Stations and a link to go back to what I searched for. Sometimes I'm just looking for a good station, this is counter-intuitive. What was the point in even changing something that worked just fine?

Is there anything that can be done about it? It's an extremely unnecessary change. At least give me a choice to "inconvenience me and take me to a different list" or "stay on the same page incase the station you chose is garbage"

The new shoutcast.com is terrible... I only listen to 160 kbps or better

I want my classic shoutcast back. I can't stand the new one. I can't find what I like, it's too complicated and it doesn't stay in the category I requested. So, what's the deal? Will it come back?

Classic ShoutCast quit working altogether here in WinAmp, and the SHOUTcast Beta is awful in WinAmp.

I am currently with WinAmp 5.601 (x86) running on Vista Ultimate 64 bit.

The old Classic ShoutCast in WinAmp did what it did VERY well. Sometimes, you just cannot improve upon something that worked so well. Touching nearly anything screws up the overall user interface and experience in one way or another.

The SHOUTcast Beta as displayed in WinAmp is a mouse clicky time waster. It takes so many more motions and effort to get to where you want to go, if you can even find it.

What could possibly be an improvement would be things like being able to specify your own default sort order, in the original Classic ShoutCast.

lydrex: the only classic view supported is via the Winamp media library plug-in otherwise the main site view is not going to change from what has been posted elsewhere quite a few times now.

JDL_1: it looks like it was a temporary issue with the servers and appears to be working again.

But I'd rather see the servers sorted out, they've been sub standard for far too long.
