Hello I havent been on the winamp forums for a little a while now, I've been leveling on WoW and getting a new internet connection (wireless that caps out at 1.1MB/s) and just checking in to see who's actually on the forums still, i see the recycle bin has more counting threads than sense now but who cares!! (i occasionally count to 1 million).

Recently I moved out of my mothers place into my own unit in a place called Bundaberg, well known for the Bundaberg Rum, and got myself a nice little girlfriend from Japan whom I met in Bundaberg and have been in love ever since with her :)

Anyways enough out of me what have the regulars been up to? :p

well life down under in this town sucks, im unemployed and making approx $300/fn and it sucks as i need to buy new computer componentry (e.g. i fixed my mouse with a band-aid on the solder points.. lol) and the mrs. is constantly bugging me to stop smoking and find a job and im trying my hardest to find work, but there is only seasonal work in this area, and I want to work in IT, but I'm going to university next year to do a Ba of Information Technology (3 yrs).

Not too long ago I was going under a bout of depression & took up smoking because it improved my mood. But after 8 months of it I said to myself, "what the fuck am I doing?" and quit right then and there.

I never understood how it could possibly be hard to quit. For me it was nothing.

Australia's 'Biblical' Flooding Continues

The state's massive flood crisis has hit Bundaberg, as authorities move in to evacuate residents from what could be the worst flood in at least 50 years for the coastal town.
The billion-dollar disaster is expected to see the Burnett River peak at over 7.5 metres today.
It could rise higher. Bundaberg and North Burnett council areas were this morning declared disaster zones by the State Government.

Two hundred Bundaberg homes have been inundated so far with residents told to shelter with family and friends or at the Bundaberg Civic Centre.

The city's sewerage system has also been affected in some areas, although the drinking water supply is unaffected. West of Bundaberg, two military Black Hawk choppers this morning began flying out the last residents of Theodore, after the 300-person town was swamped by the worst flood in its history.
