When I deleted some fonts from the windows fonts folder my Winamp player and play list is now no longer readable. What do I do to restore the original fonts

Not sure, but I think Winamp uses the default "Arial" font for the playing list.
If anyone can confirm this...

You can get back those fonts from your Windows setup CD.

Have you restarted your computer since this happened? If you HAVE NOT restarted your computer since you did this use this method. Start what you were doing again and right-click on your mouse and click the option 'Undo'.

The base skin uses the font Arial....but each skin can use a different font. I would either try using a search engine like Yahoo, Lycos, etc... to see if you can find the lost fonts, or see if someone that has them would email you the fonts. Another option would be to go into the pledit.txt file for the skins with the now unreadable fonts and edit the font to one that you do have. Hope this helps http://forums.winamp.com/ubb/smile.gif

Another alternative:

Tixoft Font Plug II:
http://www.winamp.com/customize/detail.jhtml?componentId=9471

Allows you to select your playlist font (including size and attributes) from your existing Fonts folder. Your font choice will be consistent from skin to skin, and you can change it from Winamp Preferences, instead of needing to edit your pledit.txt file for each skin.
