Connection timed out.

Please don't get me wrong, these forums are a great place. They've just about become my damn homepage. But the following is really getting annoying:

:mad: 20 times already today it's either been this error, or the other one saying "Connection reset by peer." And more often than not when doing a quick reply I have to reopen the forums in a new tab to see the results. If I don't it will just sit there.

known about but little that can be done sadly (along with the double-posting issues that are affecting some of us more than others :( ).

here's what i really hate:

its bad enough when it takes like a minute or two to get a post posted, but when it loses the post all together, that REALLY sucks, b/c when you click back, its gone!

at other forums, if a post doesn't make it, when you click back its still there, but here, you just got to grab your ankles. its been bothering me a long time, someone needs to fix it, b/c this kind of forum performance is embarrassing.

I have the same problem sometimes. What I do though is select all and copy first before hitting the submit button. That way when it happens again I can just paste it back in, lol. It's sort of become a habit with me.
