delete files from winamp, not the device?

Is there a way to delete files from Winamp for Android but not from the device? This would be helpful since there still doesn't seem to be a way to specify what directories Winamp is pulling from. Meaning all audio plays in Winamp, ringtones, etc. Thanks.

I guess the real problem is Winamp scans the entire device rather than specific folder(s).

I agree! I have tried some of the online suggestions

1. change file name to .sounds (breaks game)

2. Add file named ".nomedia" to the directory you don't want to be included (have yet to get it working. Worked for gallery but not winamp
