Winamp doesnt support MP3 format?

Hi. I have a droid2 with android 2.2 and winamp. It won't let me play mp3s telling me that "Die Wiedergabe des Dateiformats wird nicht unterstützt" which means the playing of that fileformat is not supported. Why does Winamp not support the mp3 format? The mp3s play fine on my PC winamp.

I only have mp3s and they work fine on my Winamp for Android...

Honestly it is probably both. If you'd like a larger audience, I would post your question in a more popular forum such as Android Central or xda-developers

Hello,

I get the same message when I try to play a song using the Winamp Android app that is on a playlist, "Sorry, the player does not support that type of audio file" but I can play a single single song.
