Hi all, do I set a parameter in WinAmp to have Visualization plug-ins render using 3D acceleration (Glide, OpenGL, Direct3D, etc.), or do I use the windows display properties?

I'm running an NT 4 box; I know that only up to DirectX 3 is supported on my current service pack level but I thought OpenGL or Glide would be do-able.

Thanks for any input.

I'm not excactly a genius on this subject, but I'm pretty sure that the plugin itself has to be programmed to take advantage of any 3d acceleration. Just play around in the plugin settings and look for something. I know that the great Geiss DOESN'T take adavntage of anything extra (I found that fact in the readme).
