REMOVE VOCALS

Is there any winamp plugin, or any program for that matter where you can successfully remove the vocals from a song so you have only instrumental using MP3 or WAV?? Please help, thanks.

Hello,I don't know of any software that will remove vocals (But please down go by me)It's probably out there. I do know you can buy a little box that Radio Shack sells for about $30.that will remove the vocal(Usually the lead vocal in the center)It leaves the back up vocals alone.It works as well as the one I paid $850 for.It should hook up right between your output on your computer and the input of your powered speakers,if the line level is right.You could also hook the outs to a stereo. Once again I was looking through some plugins for no reason and I stumpled upon this: http://www.winamp.com/customize/detail.jhtml?componentId=6295 it has a place for voice removal, but I didn't try it out but it is worth a shot.

I believe Sonic Foundry's SoundForge has a "vocal cut" feature

go to the analogX web site, they have what you need. There is one for winamp and one for another application. hope this helps
