Hello,

I am going to purchase winamp pro. Do I need a plugin to make playlists so it operates 24 hours? If so, which ones are the best? this is for music playlists-- but I want Winamp to never stop.

Searched the forum and most of the answers revolve around streaming-- I won't be streaming this-- it will actually be used for a small radio station.

I've used a lot of pro automation software and scheduling, but this station does not have the budget for those licenses (they are $1000+), so something like winamp pro and a scheduler plugin would do the trick.

Which ones are stable and easy to use?

Thanks!

have you looked at natural music 5?

i don't know of any radio type scheduling software for winamp. its a shame, b/c winamp is already so close to being a great replacement for radio automation.

Thanks,

I love Natural Music (I see you are a radio person too), and we have an extra license I am considering using for this project--- but will it interface with Winamp?

that i'm not sure of... its been a few years since i was knee deep in that stuff. be sure to check out:

anyone can setup winamp/sc to play local files randomly, but if you want it done to an hourly type template a la NM5, then you will need to work on intetfacking it all together. if you wouldn't mind reporting back how it goes, i'd appreaciate it.
