I am having one WEIRD problem with my visualisation plugins on my toshiba laptop... they display events before they are played. For instance, in FunkyFx, the start of a song is displayed on the graph before i hear it, like about half a second before.

its annoying the hell outta me. any ideas?

Better late then never, at least that is what people say. I would say it has to do with buffering, the visuals might react to when it is processed but do to buffering you hear it a few seconds later. Try putting your buffer all the way to the minimum and see if it helps the delay any (of course you music will skip like crazy) but at least you can see if that is the cause or not.

That is my theory, but what do I know?

Thanks for that idea.
Unfortunately, all it made my mp3s do was sound like they were a cd being played on top of a paint shaking machine.

Guys, could someone offer some help, this is really annoying, and the winamp guys didnt reply.
