Forum Support - Edit Profile/Sig/Av

OK.. In one day's time I got me to the 21 posts mark and still I get this message when I try to edit anything in my profile:

wfcamb, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1-Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2-If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
3-If you are trying to edit your profile, this can only be done once you have made at least 20 posts.
wtf?? Anyone know what's going on?

Never mind.. Allows me to change it all at post 24.. Why does it say 20?? O.o

Well even i got the message that it takes 20 posts to edit your profile why is that

that requirement i think supports spammers, because now i have to posy 21 times to do things. to me it feels as if spamming is the best way to get those posts, but im trying to resist.

if you are more concerned about having a signature than posting sensible and relevant things then you've signed up on a forum for the wrong reason.
